Our Story

We opened our doors because Chattanooga deserved a place where whiskey feels like home.

Riverfront Distillery started with a simple idea: make whiskey the way your grandmother would approve of — slowly, carefully, and with nothing but the best ingredients. We source locally grown grains when we can, filter through charcoal from native oak, and age in new charred oak barrels right here in the Riverfront District.

The building itself — once a working warehouse along the river — still carries the spirit of the folks who built this city. We kept the exposed brick, the original timber beams, and the wide windows that frame the Tennessee like a painting. What we added was a still, a dream, and a whole lot of patience.

Our Spirits

Our signature Tennessee Whiskey, aged 4+ years in new charred oak. Small-batch Rye, a Barrel-Aged Corn Bourbon, and seasonal releases that keep our regulars coming back.

The Tasting Room

Walk in any evening and find a seat at our riverside bar. Our mixologists craft cocktails with house-distilled spirits — from a classic Old Fashioned to something we invented right here.

Events & Gatherings

From birthday parties to corporate retreats, our warehouse space sets the stage. Private events include curated tastings, live music on select weekends, and a menu that pairs with our spirits.

Our guided distillery tour takes you through the full process — from mashing and fermentation to distillation and barrel aging. Every tour ends with a flight of three spirits, poured by our head distiller.
